NBC News has confirmed that, according to Michael Jackson’s attorney Michael Koskoff, the King of Pop’s 15-year-old daughter Paris Jackson was rushed to the hospital early this morning.

Her biological mother, Debbie Rowe, told Entertainment Tonight that Paris tried to commit suicide and is currently receiving medical treatment. Paris has had “a lot going on [lately,]” Rowe said.

In a statment to theGrio, Rowe’s attorney Eric George said, “We appreciate everyone’s thoughts for Paris at this time and their respect for the family’s privacy.”

TheGrio has reached out to the Jackson family’s lawyers, and Paris’ management for comment and further details, but have not heard back at the time of this report.

According to TMZ sources, a 911 call came in at 1:27 a.m. reporting a possible overdose, and a source connected to the emergency response team said there was cutting involved.

Paris was allegedly taken out of the Calabasas Jackson family estate on a stretcher around 2 a.m. and taken to a nearby hospital.

People magazine reports that recently Paris has recently been spending time with her mother.

“Rowe, 54, and Paris rekindled their relationship over the past few months, reconnecting at Rowe’s horse ranch.”

Yesterday Paris laid out her emotion in a series of puzzling tweets, saying “I wonder why tears are so salty?”… and “yesterday, all my troubles seemed so far away not it looks as though they’re here to stay.”

Recently the teenager posted a nearly 20 minute video titled “Paris Jackson doing her makeup”, where she candidly offers up makeup advice and at one point breaks out into song.

“Being a sensitive 15-year-old is difficult no matter who you are,” Kevin Boyle, an attorney for Katherine Jackson, said in a statement. “It is especially difficult when you lose the person closest to you. Paris is physically fine and is getting appropriate medical attention. Please respect her privacy and the family’s privacy.”
