A new teaser trailer has been released for the upcoming action comedy Ride Along.
The film stars Kevin Hart as Ben, a high-school security guard, and Ice Cube as James, a tough-as-nails Atlanta police detective. The movie follows Ben’s attempts to prove he is worthy of marrying James’ sister, Angela (played by Tika Sumpter).
In the film, directed by Tim Story (Barbershop), Ben is invited on a 24-hour ride along with James that is designed to scare the would-be officer.
The Universal Studios film is expected to hit theaters in January 2014.
