Jay Z’s sports agency Roc Nation Sports signed New York Yankees pitcher CC Sabathia on January 16.
The agency will represent the MLB player on and off the field.
“CC exemplifies everything Roc Nation looks for in an athlete and a partner,” said Roc Nation Sports president Juan Perez, according to ESPN.

Sabathia joins NFL quarterback Geno Smith, NBA star Kevin Durant, New York Giant Victor Cruz, WNBA guard Skylar Diggins and fellow MLB player Robinson Cano on the roster of Roc Nation Sports.
The 33-year-old has at least three years left on his contract, guaranteeing him $76 million.
