Former homeless man helps the homeless

A former homeless man spent his own money helping a currently homeless man.
Eric, who became an internet sensation after he was surprised with a winning lottery ticket, was once homeless but now lives in his own home.
He used $1,000 to help an unnamed homeless man he met outside of a store get shelter from the heat.
The money was enough to secure four weeks in a hotel.
