Thirteen-year-old Mo’Ne Davis pitched an incredible three-hitter Sunday, leading her team to an 8-0 victory and advancing to the Little League World Series.

The teen pitches for Taney Youth Baseball Association Little League of Philadelphia, and the team’s big win over Delaware-Newark National Little League gave them the opportunity to be the first ever team from Philadelphia to compete in the Little League World Series, reports NBC Philadelphia.

Davis is not the first girl to participate in the series, but she is just the 17th in 68 years.

The star pitcher’s fastball reaches upwards of 70 mph.

“Are you as good as any boy here?” Davis was asked during an appearance on the Today Show.

“Yes,” she replied. “No question.”

The World Series begins this Thursday in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.
