According to an interview with Of The Rock Church this past Sunday, the 26-year-old Seahawks quarterback claimed that he and the 29-year-old songstress are currently abstaining from sex.
“God spoke to me and He said to me, ‘I need you to lead her,’” Wilson said.
“What would you do if we took all of that extra stuff off of the table and just did it Jesus’ way?” Wilson said he asked Ciara.
Wilson added that he felt God had put the two of them together to use their collective “impact” to “bless” others.
“He has anointed us, He’s called us and asked us to do something special,” Wilson said.
Though Wilson — who divorced his first wife, Ashton Meem-Wilson, in 2014 — is officially waiting for marriage to have sex, he’s still tempted.
“I ain’t gonna lie to ya’ll now. I need ya’ll to pray for us. You’ve seen her on the screen. If there’s a 10, she’s a 15.”
