On the heels of a major announcement of being renewed for two more seasons, the ladies of The Real are sitting down with Rachel Dolezal, the former NAACP chapter president who captured the nation’s attention when her race came into question.

In an exclusive interview set to air on The Real, Monday, November 2, Dolezal opens up about her racial identity and her pregnancy.

In an intense clip from the interview, the show’s co-host, Loni Love, goes head-to-head with Dolezal about her take on “whiteness.”

“As Dick Gregory says, ‘White is not a race it’s a state of mind,’ and nothing about whiteness describes me,” Dolezal noted.

“Okay, let me tell you something,” Love says.” I’m black. I can’t be you. I can’t reverse myself. Let me tell you, Rachel, if the police stop me…you can throw that off and show that little light, nice, fine hair up under [Loni gesturing to her hair]. You might get away. I may not, I may not even make it in the jail. So it’s a difference.”

Be sure to tune in Monday for Dolezal’s full interview on The Real.
