Luther Vandross was outed as gay after his death.

Raven-Symoné didn’t absolutely love The Wiz Live!, and the Internet is having fits about it.

Both Joy Behar and Candace Cameron Bure said they enjoyed the production, during Friday’s episode of The View, and Bure gushed, “I really liked it. … The show itself I thought was fantastic.”

While most of her co-hosts absolutely loved the production, Raven said that she missed the original.

“I have such a high bar for ‘The Wiz,’ being that it was Diana Ross and Michael Jackson and Stephanie Mills, that when I went into it, I was like, ‘Let’s go!’ And then … I, you know, I just miss Michael, I miss Diana,” she said.

She went on to say that she was reluctant to say that she was “disappointed” in the production, but her expectations were too high going in.

“I just miss the people that originated those [roles]. … It’s a hard act to follow, and that’s what I was looking for,” she said. “Overall, I just want to say that I miss the original people.”

Twitter was quick to criticize Raven for her comments, accusing her of being ignorant.
