DeMarcus Cousins takes hundreds of kids shopping for the holidays

DeMarcus Cousins is getting into the holiday spirit.
Recently, the Sacramento Kings power forward took 200 underprivileged kids — 100 from Sacramento, CA and 100 from his hometown of Mobile, Alabama — on a shopping spree.
The kids received gift cards to Footlocker and also went shopping for video games and toys with Cousins.
“I grew up in these kid’s shoes. Not as fortunate. Didn’t have the best Christmas. Just being able to get these kids clothes, shoes, whatever the case may be. Just something that they, you know, that they want for Christmas. Grant that wish to them. Being able to put a smile on that kid’s face, or family’s face, is more than enough for me,” said Cousins.
In addition, Cousins also teamed up with Chase Chevrolet in order to get a new car for a local family.
