Apollo Nida, of Real Housewives of Atlanta fame, is reportedly looking at 18 months in maximum security for breaking prison rules and being in possession of a contraband cell phone.

Nida had reportedly been using the cell phone to call friends and family while he was locked up at the Fort Dix Correctional Institute, and when the phone was discovered, prison staff acted immediately.

“The prison staff took Apollo’s violation very seriously,” the Fort Dix source told RadarOnline. “He was taken out of camp with the general population and placed in maximum security.”

Additionally, those wanting to visit Nida will be required to submit to a full-body scan in order to prevent this from happening again.
