Lauryn Hill shows up 2 hours late to concert: I tried to “align my energy with time”

Lauryn Hill has promised to “make it up” to fans who are upset after she showed up two hours late to an Atlanta concert Friday night and then only performed for 40 minutes. Many of the concert-goers expressed outrage on social media.

In a lengthy Facebook post to her fans, Hill denied that she had been late to the concert because she did not care about her fans, instead telling fans that the problem was with the “artistic process.” She said that the problem came from trying to align her energies.

However, her energies did not align that night, apparently.

She stated in the note to fans that she would announce details for how she planned to make it up to her fans, though details have not yet been released.
