HBO has announced its fall renewals already, with “Insecure,” “Westworld,” and “Divorce” all being given the greenlight for a second season with 10 episodes apiece.

“Insecure” has been lauded as showing a non-stereotypical view of the black female experience, examining the real-life and sometimes awkward situations that come with everyday life.

–Hollywood finally embraces what it means to be black and awkward–

The show was created by Issa Rae and Larry Wilmore, and while Rae stars, Wilmore did not participate because of his late-night show obligations. However, it is unclear what role he will play now that his show is no longer airing, though he has continued to be a consultant for the project.
