Restaurant owner allegedly kicked student out of venue for being black

Luther Vandross was outed as gay after his death.

A Pennsylvania restaurant owner has been accused of kicking out a college student and using a racial slur in the process, using Donald Trump’s election as President of the United States as justification for his actions.

Lebanon Valley College student Rickey Lee Bugg Jr. claimed that he was eating at Just Wing It at around 1:30 in the morning on Sunday with a friend when the owner came out to tell them, “I own three restaurants and I don’t need you n*****s’ money.”

Bugg said that they asked the waitress for their money back, and she agreed, though they were once more confronted by the angry owner as they tried to leave.

“I flipped a few chairs,” Bugg said, admitting that he got frustrated with the manager’s behavior. He added that he told the manager, “That’s not the way to treat people.”

“Trump’s president now so I can say what I want,” the owner allegedly replied. “You n*****s need to get out.”

Bugg said that he had eaten at the restaurant before multiple times and never had a problem. “We weren’t being loud, we were just sitting there, watching TV,” he said.

The incident is under investigation, and Just Wing It’s owner has not replied to a request for comment.
