The Patriots won the Super Bowl on Sunday, which means they’re going to the White House to celebrate their win. But Martellus Bennett isn’t going with them.

Bennett said last Monday that it was “unlikely” he’d visit the White House if his team won the Super Bowl, and after the Patriots’ win on Sunday, he just confirmed what he had said before: he will not be going.

“It is what it is. People know how I feel about it,” Bennett said. “Just follow me on Twitter.”

For reference, Bennett tweeted on the Monday the Super Bowl: “America was built on inclusiveness not exclusiveness.”

On the other hand, Tom Brady, Bill Belichick and Robert Kraft have been outspoken about their support of Donald Trump, and Trump also offered the team his support, tweeting about their win on Sunday: “What an amazing comeback and win by the Patriots. Tom Brady, Bob Kraft and Coach B are total winners. Wow!”

But Bennett played down the political differences between himself and other members of the team.

“You just don’t bring that to work,” he said. “We all have our beliefs. We accept people for who they are.”
