Oprah Winfrey and Lee Daniels are reportedly looking to get a remake of the 1983 classic Terms of Endearment in the works.

The film, based on the book of the same name written by Larry McMurtry, followed the 30-year relationship between a mother and daughter and earned itself 11 Academy Award nominations, ultimately winning Best Picture, Best Director, Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Actress and Best Supporting Actor.

Paramount Pictures is reportedly developing the project, which would star Winfrey, with Daniels set to direct.

No further news on casting decisions has been announced, and Paramount had no comment when reached by the Wrap.
