Jennifer Lawrence: Hurricanes may be nature’s ‘wrath’ for electing Trump
Jennifer Lawrence feels that perhaps the destructive hurricanes pounding the US are āmother Natureās rage and wrathā at the country for electing Donald Trump as president.
Lawrence has been making the rounds promoting her new movie Mother! And made a stop on Britainās Channel 4 to talk about the film, Trump and even the gender pay gap.
When the interviewers stated that there was an āend-of-days feelingā across the world, Lawrence agreed saying, āitās scary.ā
āYou know, itās this new language thatās forming. I donāt even recognize it. Itās also scary to know thatĀ climate changeĀ is due to human activity, and we continue to ignore it, and the only voice that we really have is through voting.ā

Thatās when Lawrence suggested that the hurricanes could, in fact, have been prompted by Trump being elected.
“You know, youāre watching these hurricanes now, and itās really hard, especially while promoting this movie, not to feel Mother Natureās rage and wrath,” she said.
“Iāve heard things and seen things on TV in my own country that devastate me and make me sick, and itās just really confusing.”
This is not the first time Lawrence has spoken about Trump. She has always been a vocal critic, saying in 2015 that a victory for him would ābe the end of the worldā during an Entertainment Weekly interview.
