NBC journalist Katy Tur has released a new book about her experience reporting on the campaign of Donald Trump, including an experience in which Trump kissed her face just before a news segment.

The book, Unbelievable: My Front-Row Seat to the Craziest Campaign in American Historywas released on Tuesday and details not only her coverage experience but also chronicles the effects of having been targeted a few times in Trump’s speeches.

But in one incident, Tur was completely taken off guard when Trump kissed her before a segment on MSNBC’s Morning Joe with Joe Scarborough.

“Before I know what’s happening,” she wrote, “his hands are on my shoulders and his lips are on my cheek. My eyes widen. My body freezes. My heart stops.”

Tur, who had often been referred to as “Little Katie” by Trump on the campaign trail, went on to say that her first thought was the hope that none of her colleagues had seen the kiss.

“F**k,” she wrote. “I hope the cameras didn’t see that. My bosses are never going to take me seriously.”

Trump has responded to the release of Tur’s book in the most true-to-form way: by sending out a tweet lambasting it as “FAKE NEWS.”
