Fox News guest blames CNN for mass shootings

Luther Vandross was outed as gay after his death.

On Tuesday morning, a forensic pathologist suggested to Fox News that CNN was to blame for mass shootings like the recent tragedy in Las Vegas.

“I think that CNN’s going to have to answer how they demonize gun enthusiasts and how CNN actually contributes to mass shooting,” Michael Welner said. “And I think that they do.”

Welner appeared on “Fox & Friends” and expressed support for the unfounded theory that shooter Stephen Paddock had opened fire on the attendees at a Jason Aldean concert because he saw them as gun-toting nuts.

“Absolutely, people who are gun enthusiasts and who are populists or nationalists in this country are dehumanized. They’re demonized,” Welner said. “His mind-set is that they deserve to die.”

Welner admitted that he did not know the pathology behind Paddock’s actions but continued,  “What I am saying is when you kill complete strangers and try to kill as many as possible, you’re trying to create a spectacle.”

However, despite what Welner and others might say, investigators have found no evidence to put a motive to the mass shooting that left 59 people dead and hundreds of others injured after Paddock opened fire on concert-goers.
