On Thursday night, Tyrese checked himself into the hospital for chest pains and dehydration after spending the day in court over a custody battle with his ex-wife.
According to TMZ, Tyrese began to experience chest pains shortly after leaving the courthouse and subsequently went to the hospital. He received fluids to treat the dehydration and is undergoing tests to determine the cause of his chest pains. The singer also reportedly suffered from anxiety.

This comes after Tyrese spent Thursday in a court battle with ex-wife Norma Gibson, who has accused the singer of hitting their daughter, Shayla. She also claimed that he spied on her and that she had reason to fear for her safety, and she was granted a temporary restraining order against Tyrese in which he is not allowed near her or their daughter.
Tyrese wore all black to the courtroom and declared that he had done so because the day was a funeral for the abuse allegations being leveled against him.
