News One reports: Academy Award-winning actress Charlize Theron has adopted an African-American baby boy named Jackson, reports People Magazine.

The 36-year-old South African-born actress, who has been a vocal advocate of adoption, was quoted as saying it is a disservice not to care for the countless unwanted children in the world.
