Wayman Tisdale died at the age of 44 Friday morning at a hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  The three-time college All-American and former NBA star has lost his battle with cancer. Tisdale played 12 seasons in the NBA and later went on to become an award-winning jazz recording artist.  In 2007, Tisdale learned he had a cancerous cyst below his right knee after breaking his leg at his home in Los Angeles.  Last August doctors amputated Tisdale’s leg and replaced it with a prosthetic limb.
