DALLAS — There are new developments in an AMBER Alert out of Dallas. Nine-month old Daisja Weaver is still missing, but Dallas police arrested her father, Alandus Weaver over the weekend on charges related to the case.

And today, police arrested the child’s mother. Police have searched extensively for baby Daisja since the AMBER Alert was issued last week.

The child’s mother, 19 year-old Tamara Creagh, came to police Saturday morning with a new version of what happened to her nine-month old daughter. She initially told police the girl was taken by an intruder at her north Dallas apartment. Now she says the baby was actually killed.

Police arrested the baby’s father for tampering with evidence but say he has not been charged in her death. Tamara Creagh has been arrested on the same charges. Both are considered suspects but neither have been charged with the girl’s death and because they have not found a body, this remains an active AMBER Alert.
