Black man assaulted at town hall meeting

There has been a lot of buzz about Kenneth Gladney and the events that surround a scuffle outside a town hall meeting August 6th. There seem to be a few sides to this story. Here’s the video that started all the discussion.

Some reports have Gladney “handing out” Gadsden flags (a popular symbol of the tea party protesters as of late – but whose history stretches back to colonial times) and some claim he was selling them for extra money and is not a conservative activist.

Gladney (a black man) claims he was attacked by a black union member.

Is this a case of a black man being attacked because of his conservative views?
