Caught on tape: Shoplifter maces security guard
VIDEO - Pennsylvania State Police are looking for a woman who maced a clerk at a Hempfield Township Target store when he tried to stop her from shoplifting DVDs.

Pennsylvania State Police are looking for a woman who maced a clerk at a Target store when he tried to stop her from shoplifting DVDs.
Surveillance shows the shoplifting and the attack.
A police spokesman said the employee began following the woman when she put about 33 DVDs in her shopping basket because those items are among the most commonly taken by shoplifters.
The clerk confronted the woman when he saw her put the DVDs in her handbag as she moved to the lingerie department.
Police said she calmly headed to the front exit where she was met by store security.
When she was asked to accompany security into a front office, she whipped out a canister of Mace and sprayed it in an employee’s face.
While the security guard was blinded by the Mace, the woman ran out of the store.
Police are asking the public for help with identifying the woman.
The security guard was not seriously injured.
