In the city where Martin Luther King Jr. was born, and on the street dedicated to him, you’d think the city would manage to spell his name right.
But that’s not the case.
The street sign at the corner of Vine and Martin Luther King in Atlanta has a spelling error that’s gone unnoticed for years.
The letter “t” is missing in Martin’s name.
“Marin” Luther King and Vine is how the sign reads.
City officials say now that they are aware of the error, it will be fixed within the next few days.
