Young volunteers spent summer entertaining elders
VIDEO -- A group of high school students from West Orange, NJ gave up their summer to make other people's summer more enjoyable.
A group of high school students from West Orange, NJ gave up their summer to make other people’s summer more enjoyable. The teens are a part of the New Community Program. The objective is to bring together people of all races, ages and cultures in the state of respect for sharing to create an environment of service and trust.
The students shared their talents in dancing and music at the Degnan House, an independent residential facility for senior citizens.
