CNBC’s Shartia Brantley reports that investors are preparing for key reports on the housing market and broader economy. The August indicators report showed a 0.6 percent increase being the fifth consecutive month of improvement. The August housing report showed a 1.5 percent increase in new home construction while the sales report showed a 2.7 percent drop in sales of previously owned homes.
