Ice-T was cuffed by New York City police officers two weeks ago for driving with expired auto insurance. The former gangsta rapper and his wife, Coco, were pulled over in his late-model Caddie sedan by New York’s men-in-blue for not wearing a seatbelt. Now, according to a spokesperson for the New Jersey Department of Motor Vehicles, Ice-T’s auto insurance was up to date and active. Wonder who’s going to pay for the mistake? Surprisingly, he stated that it won’t be New York’s finest.
Ice-T, whose real name is Tracy Morrow, was hopping mad over his arrest. He felt he was taken into custody just because of his celeb status.
