Not long after reports from several major news sources hit the Web confirming Beyonce and Jay-Z are expecting Beyonce’s mother, Tina Knowles ironically appeared on yesterday’s Ellen Degeneres show.
Momma Tina immediately shot down reports, saying pregnancy rumors about her eldest daughter “are not true.”
“The truth is that it’s not Beyonce that’s pregnant. It’s me,” jokes Tina Knowles. Tina was all laughs. “I’m kidding y’all. I’m 56. No, no the reports are not true.”
Knowles said she’s looking forward to it. “Not right now. I’m looking forward to it. With all the rumors, by now I should have five or six grandchildren.”
All we have to say is, “Show Us The Belly!” In 4-5 months, if Beyonce doesn’t have a cutesy baby bump, we’ll eat our words along with US Weekly, ABC News, and all the other newswire outlets who have more significant things to report.
