It sounds like an old comedy routine, but some New Yorkers feel that cabbies are picking their fares based on race. The cops soon decided that she was in the right and forced him to accept the fare.Taxi and Limousine Commissioner David Yassky says refusing service based on race is against the law, and people should file a complaint with 311 if they experience such discrimination.
