Emotions ran high during a bond hearing in a South Carolina courtroom Wednesday.

Michael Daniels Jr. is accused of walking into the Exxon gas station in Olar and shooting Alicia Dyches in the head and injuring two others, Kenneth Utz and Dwight Williams.

The hearing proved to be too emotional for both families.

When Alicia Dyches sister, Christal Chavis, saw the man accused of killing her sister, she broke down in tears, which prompted an outburst by the defendant.

“I want her back! I want her back! I hope he pays,” cried her sister as she was being carried out of the courtroom.

That’s when the defendant, Daniels, turned around and screamed “F*ck you b*tch!” to her.

Dyches’ sister was later taken out of the courthouse on a stretcher and placed into an ambulance.

The harsh words from Daniels also shocked his own family.

They burst into tears and could barely speak.

One of the sisters of Daniels held his mother, Virginia Daniels.

“It’s going to be okay Momma, it’s going to be okay,” she sobbed.

Daniels was denied bond and was escorted back to the Bamberg County Jail.

After court was over, Alicia’s aunts say Daniels is where he belongs but they do have some sympathy for the other family involved.

“We’re sorry for that family, too, not for him. There’s a hole in our heart, it can’t be filled,” said Dyches’ aunt Joann Grubbs.

“We loved Alicia; it’s so hard,” said Dyches’ other aunt, Debbie Carroll.

Michael Daniels Jr. is scheduled to be back in court February 3.
