The hapless thug who allegedly had a gun shot out of his hand by an off-duty cop while he tried to hold up a Bed-Stuy beauty salon has been officially charged with attempted murder, according to the Brooklyn District Attorney’s Office.
Winston Cox, 20, who was armed with a .44-caliber Magnum, ordered employees and patrons at Sabine’s Beauty Salon to hand over their money and to move to the back of the store during the Oct. 23 robbery, said cops.
Feris Jones, an off-duty cop who was getting her hair done, decided to confront the robber.
