A Morehouse College student is suing to reclaim 100 percent control of the songs he wrote, including one supposedly for artist Usher.
According to the suit filed in DeKalb County Superior Court, Kameron Glasper, who also goes by the name Kam Parker, is a “struggling singer-songwriter” who signed away half interest in songs he promised to deliver to Legendary Poets Music Publishing.
The suit filed Monday said Glasper was a “young, inexperienced college student, hoping to work in the music industry and was vulnerable” when he signed the contract on Oct. 30, 2009.
