On Saturday, Payne will turn 102 years old.

Roberta Russell, a fellow bowler at senior bowling days describes Payne as “the most remarkable person she’s ever met.”

Miss B, as Payne’s friends call her, and her 97-year-old sister Louise show that staying active keeps you young.

“I would say the secret to longevity is keeping a clean life, treating others as you would like to be treated, and being kind to everyone,” said Payne.
