A man sentenced to life in prison for his role in a deadly robbery attempt at a southwest Oklahoma City pharmacy attacked a district attorney after learning his sentence Monday.
Deliberations ended late Monday afternoon in the trial for suspects Emanuel Mitchell and Anthony Morrison.
As the District Attorney David Prater delivered a statement, one of the defendants, Emanuel Mitchell, jumped from the defense table and struck the prosecutor in the face.

Prater suffered scratches to his nose and face, but did not appear to have any serious injuries.
Ersland’s murder trial is still scheduled to begin in two weeks.
