Pittsburgh Steelers safety Ryan Clark weighed in on the controversial comments that his teammate Rashard Mendenhall posted on his twitter account after President Obama announced that Osama bin Laden has been killed.
“My first reaction to it really is that social media is ruining the world,” Clark told Jason Horowitz and Steve Phillips of SiriusXM’s Mad Dog Radio on Wednesday. “Social media is ruining the world. Facebook and Twitter are probably going to be responsible for more divorces than infidelity coming up here soon.”
After Obama’s announcement on Sunday night, Mendenhall tweeted, “We’ll never know what really happened. I just have a hard time believing a plane could take a skyscraper down demolition style.”
