Burglar suspects caught on tape

Police are searching for two burglary suspects who were caught on tape breaking into a Panorama City home.

Surveillance video captured the burglary which occurred April 12 around 4:30 p.m. in the 9200 block of Canterbury Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

Two suspects were seen driving back and forth in front of the house casing the residence. The video shows each taking turns getting out of the car, walking up to the front door and knocking, police said.

Later, a suspect is seen being dropped off just south of the home. He walks up to the door, knocks, then when no one appears to answer, he is seen “mule kicking” it open. The suspect briefly goes inside, but leaves without taking anything.

Because of the clarity of the video, police are hoping the someone will be able to identify the suspects.
