The NFL is looking into advertisements for an adult entertainment expo that used a picture of Major Wright, among other NFL players, in Bears uniform. Wright refuted the ad, tweeting, “FYI….. I have NOTHING to do with the Exotic Expo @ the Rosemont! My pic was used without my permission. No Affiliation at all.” The Bears explained the problem with the advertisements:

“This is an improper use of team marks and the Chicago Bears are not associated with this ad,” said Bears spokesman Jim Christman. “Many times, players themselves are unaware of the violations and the companies simply pull images and make ads not realizing they are in violation.”

Though the NFL is likely not too happy that their players may be affiliated with a show touting pornography, the lack of a collective bargaining agreement means there is not much they can do about it.
