Police in Richmond, Texas are searching for two women who stole thousands of dollars out of a Walmart’s cash registers.
Surveillance video showed the women standing in a checkout line, each holding a polo-style shirt on a hanger.
One of the women used a shirt to cover an unattended register’s cash drawer.
The woman then unlocked the drawer and took out all of the large-denomination bills.
Detectives said the second woman acted as a lookout.
The women repeated the same process at another register.
Investigators said the women got away with $2,300.
Walmart officials told police that only those in management have keys to the registers, and none of the keys have been reported missing.
