Michael Rapaport said he was done trying to make Q-Tip happy about his Beats, Rhymes & Life: The Travels of A Tribe Called Quest documentary which hits theaters tomorrow.

Tip publicly had beef with the project and Mike catered to him, but recently the film’s director told the press that the Tribe front man would “come around.”

And it seems that has happened as Q-Tip and Ali Shaheed Muhammad spoke to Angie Martinez on Hot 97FM and stated they got the creative control they were after.

“If we hadn’t been supportive of the film, it wouldn’t be out. When I said that I wasn’t in support of it on Twitter, the director needed to respect the subject’s few requests that they had about the film artistically, an editing thing,” Q-Tip said.
