Philadelphia's Shanea Clark is finally free after a mistake by the police department over a $15 parking ticket put her in jail...
Everybody hates parking tickets and most people pay them on time, but Philadelphia’s Shanea Clark didn’t expect a $15 discrepancy to land her in a cell filled with urine and feces.
Two weeks ago, Clark was arrested and taken to jail by Coatesville, PA police in front of her three children. The arrest was in response to a $30 parking ticket that police state she underpaid by $15.

However, today Clark is free and it turns out it was the police department who was in error. Clark’s claims that she paid the ticket in full were true.
Two separate tickets were also written up and entered into the system at the time of Clark’s leading to the mistake. The charges have since been dropped.
