Fights between players are expected in hockey, but baseball fans in Spokane, Washington were treated to heated arguments and quite a few jabs at a game last night between the Spokane Indians and the Vancouver Canadians.

In the third inning, Zach Cone of the Indians hit a ground ball and rounded the field, stopping at second base. Rougned Odor, was thrown out at second, and ran past Indians shortstop John Berti where high tensions appeared to have caused a disturbance.

Odor then stopped in his tracks, approached Berti and within seconds punches were thrown and players from both teams rushed the field.

As you can see in the video above, the fight soon moved to the field where the players continued to brawl before being broken up. Aggressive remarks were traded afterward but the quarrel dissipated shortly afterward.

Four players were ejected from the game and the Spokane Indians have since issued an apology. The Indians lost 9-5.
