A popular rapper wanted for a local assault on a teen has turned himself in to authorities, North Miami Beach Police said Monday.

Brisco, whose real name is British Alexander Mitchell, surrendered on aggravated battery charges for allegedly punching an 18-year old man and knocking him unconscious June 30.

Brisco then fled the scene in a white Range Rover, police said. He was being booked in Miami-Dade County jail Monday afternoon. Brisco’s attorney did not immediately return a phone call on the matter.
