At Hutchinson Elementary, Principal Rebecca Dashiel-Mitchell was replaced after an investigation reported she failed to monitor the 2009 CRCT. A teacher confessed to giving her students answers while close to half of classrooms at Hutchinson had unusual erasures.
Also at Boyd Elementary, Principal Emalyn Foreman said she did not know why 56 percent of their classrooms’ had flagged erasures. But a teacher said she was pressured by Foreman to improve student test scores.
Monday, Foreman was replaced with interim principal Keisha Gibbons while Shanda Beadles replaced Dashiel-Mitchell on Tuesday.
