A man awaiting trial in the 2009 slayings of a nurse and her 20-year-old daughter has been convicted on 11 federal charges in other crimes.

After a three-week trial, 28-year-old Jason Thomas Scott, of Upper Marlboro, Md., was convicted of carjacking, production of child pornography, theft and gun charges committed during a series of home invasions and burglaries.
