It has been more than two days since five year old Mirah Trenice Smith went missing from her Detroit house. Smith was home Saturday, amongst family and friends, who were admittedly parting into the the night. Family members did not notice the girl had gone missing until 11:30 the following morning.

Smith’s mother, 24 year old Konesha Smith, was questioned and passed a lie detector test before being released by police. The girls aunt, Konesha’s sister, was the last person to see the little girl alive and is currently being questioned.

Just one mile away from where the Smiths were parting, a well known neighborhood crack house was burned out and a body of a little girl was found inside, on Sunday morning. Investigators said the girl, between the age of five and seven years old, had died from asphyxiation, a crushed skull and was doused with gasoline.

A new clue found by authorities, at the burned out house, is a piece of black fabric with a pink rose. Although Smith’s family is praying that the little girl found in the burned rubble is not the body of little Mirah, according to the Amber Alert, the five-year-old was last seen wearing a black shirt with a pink rose on it.

DNA has been taken from the mother and is currently being tested against the DNA found on the fabric found at the burned home.

Smith’s mother and aunt are not the only ones questioned by police. Sources say there is another man, who attended the party and fought with Smith’s mother Saturday night, who is currently being detained and questioned by the Detroit Police.
