Rev. Sharpton calls for action on racial wealth gap

The pew research center released a racial wealth gap study whose results caused Reverend Al Sharpton to call for immediate action to lessen the wide gap between African-American and Caucasian citizens.

The study indicated that the median wealth of white households is now 20 times that of Black households. Sharpton’s civil rights organization, National Action Network, will address the issue during it’s annual march in Washington, D.C. on August 27th.
