A man who once publicly castigated police for not finding his daughter’s killer admitted to her murder on Friday.
Rodney McIntyre, 45, plead guilty in D.C. Superior Court to one charge of first-degree murder in the death of 17-year-old Ebony Franklin.

On the day of her death, Nov. 26, 2010, Franklin had gone to meet her father to go shopping for Christmas presents. She never returned, and subsequently, investigators discovered her body in a waste can covered in trash on Fairmount Street in Northwest D.C.
