LOS ANGELES – Saturday 7/30/11 Ms. Lauryn Hill’s music fit in perfectly and Rage Against the Machine’s eclectic LA Rising festival. Hers was, needless to say, a different style than what most were doing that day. But, Ms. Lauryn Hill isn’t one for keeping her mouth shut about injustices – either as lead singer of The Fugees or as a solo artist.
For those who did not know, Hill just gave birth to her sixth child one week before the day long festival. Not only did she perform well, she looked great. She wore a blue and white ensemble which hid the wrong things and showed off the right things. And yes, she had a signature black towel in her left hand and a big Mickey Mouse ears ring on her right.
