School guidance counselor Cinnamon Davis, 23, was charged with statutory rape after police discovered she was sexually involved with a student.
Police say Davis was involved in a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old male student at Varangon Academy in Tennessee for an entire weekend, as well as gave him alcohol. The Memphis school is a 7th to 12th grade “residential treatment facility for adolescent boys with emotional and behavioral problems.”

Back in May, the victim’s mother called police when her son disappeared for a weekend. When he returned home late Sunday, he told his mom that he had spent the weekend with his counselor from school.
Davis is currently out of jail on bond and is due in court in two weeks.
